The pysanka is a Ukrainian Easter egg that uses a wax resistant method to produce intricate, delicate patterns. The Fabergé eggs, made by Peter Fabergé for the Russian Tsars over a hundred years ago, are famous for their spectacular jeweled Easter eggs.
